Day Trips
Join us for a one-hour visit to Spotty Creek where we will introduce you to our animals, allow you to feed them treats (supplied by us), teach you what is involved in caring for each of them, and allow you to collect fresh eggs if our chickens are actively laying (that you may purchase at $5/doz.).
Lead-line rides on one of our horses can be added to the package for an additional fee (must be booked prior to day of visit, since the horse will need to be bathed and tacked prior to your arrival).
Groups are limited to 12 people at a time, and children must be accompanied by adults at a ratio of at least one adult per 6 children.
Rate: $12 per person
Lead-line horseback rides: additional $50 per 1/2 hour
Birthday Parties (2 hours)
Choose Spotty Creek for your next children's birthday party! We will supply tables, table coverings, and coolers for drinks. For an additional fee, we can also supply a balloon arch, plates, napkins, plastic flatware, etc. If you are interested in these additional services, please request our pricing menu.
For the first hour of your party, enjoy food and games (supplied by you). Terms & Conditions
Groups are currently limited to 12 people at a time, and children must be accompanied by adults at a ratio of at least one adult per 6 children. Although we adore children and are excited to share our farm with them, please note that we do not provide a child-sitting service. Accompanying adults are expected to participate in all activities in order to maintain the safety of the children and our animals.
Spotty Creek staff will review a list of rules for interacting with the animals prior to entering our pastures, and we reserve the right to ask anyone not adhering to those rules to leave the pasture.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on visits or at birthday parties. We reserve the right to end the visit or party immediately if alcohol is discovered, since alcohol and pasture safety do not mix.
All participants must wear closed-toe shoes in order to enter the pasture. If lead-line horseback riding is added to a party package, all riders must wear a helmet (supplied by us).
Waivers of liability will also be required for all participants.
In case of inclement weather, visits and parties may be rescheduled. We do not, however, have accommodations to move a party indoors.
Full payment is due upon booking. Refunds will be given for day trips with 48-hours notice. Full refunds for parties will be given with 7 days notice, and a 50% refund will be given with 48-hours notice.
Please be aware that we have both male and female animals that sometimes are being bred. Visitors to our farm may witness these breeding activities. We believe farm life is an outstanding way to teach children about reproduction, and we try and answer questions about these activities in a very straightforward manner. If you have concerns about our staff discussing animal husbandry and reproduction with your children, please make us aware of those concerns when booking.
